Crowdfunded Journalism
Dan Waddell
Author, journalist, crime writer, father-of-three - will sleep when he's dead.
Dan Waddell is a recovering newspaper reporter turned award-winning author who still dabbles in investigative journalism. He's written more than 20 works of crime fiction and non-fiction. His latest book, Field of Shadows, the true story of a cricket tour to Nazi Germany in 1937, recently won the MCC/Cricket Society Book of the Year.

As a former hack, Dan is interested in the power of the press and how that power is often abused. He is also a committed sport fan who, despite being old enough to know better, still plays cricket, albeit under the influence of a cocktail of painkillers. He lives in London.
