James Doleman came to prominence for his widely-praised coverage of the 2010 Tommy Sheridan trial, for which he was nominated for a Scottish Press award. He later became legal correspondent of The Drum, during which he covered the entire phone-hacking trail and seven court cases against The Sun and Daily Mirror journalists over allegations of corrupt payments to public officials. Based between London and Glasgow, James is an objective and respected court reporter with contacts on both sides of every case he covers.
